For this lesson there are four different websites......you will need to gauge your time and work in the following order:
FIRST - EdHeads Simple Machines - www.edheads.org - on this website you will need to select the SIMPLE MACHINES link and then press start. Try to complete 3 of the 5 rooms and then print your score sheet for each.
SECOND - http://www.sciencenetlinks.com/interactives/powerplay.html - on this website work your wway through the powerplay game to complete the simple machine tasks.....drag the items to where they should be. Once you have completed all of the machines, use the back of your worksheet to plan out your own Rube Goldberg machine.
THIRD - www.rube-goldberg.com - on this website you are searching for the answers to the research questions on Rube Goldberg and his machines.
